In their continued efforts to destroy religion in America, the ACLU has won another loathsome victory against the free expression of religion. The AP reports that a rural school district near St. Louis, MO can no longer allow representatives of Gideons International to give away Bibles to fifth-graders during after school periods or during their lunch break periods.

For more than three decades, the South Iron School District in Annapolis, 120 miles southwest of St. Louis in the heart of the Bible Belt, allowed representatives of Gideons International to give away Bibles in fifth-grade classrooms.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed suit two years ago on behalf of four sets of parents. In August, a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a temporary injunction against the practice.

The district altered its policy, saying the Gideons and others were still welcome to distribute Bibles or other literature before or after school or during lunch break, but not in classrooms.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Catherine Perry ruled both practices were illegal and granted a permanent injunction.

Naturally the ACLU claims that any vestige of Christianity in or near a school means that the poor kiddies are being FORCED to become slaves to Christianity. Sadly, they never take cases trying to stop Islam from being forced on our school kids proving that the ACLU only wants to destroy Christians and that they aren’t the least bit interested in any issue like “religion in schools.”

The school district is going to appeal these anti-religious judges’ decision. Let’s hope they are successful.

ACLU Claims Religious Test ‘Proposed as a Necessary Qualification’ for President

If you can’t win your issue by the strength of your argument… then lie. Apparently that is the tactic of the ACLU if a recent “ACLU’s Diary” entry on the DailyKos by T. Jeremy Gunn is any indication. With all the talk of religion surrounding the various candidates for the GOP nomination for president lately it has obviously been driving our ACLU Director of Freedom of Religion and Belief out of his gourd. (Though, one is excused for thinking that his title is a bit misleading for it should probably be a Freedom from Religion and Belief, but be that as it may…) Gunn goes off half cocked over the supposed forced imposition of religion on the campaign for president.

The lie concerns Mr. Gunn’s shot at Romney claiming that he and others have created a new “religious test” as a qualification for a candidate in contravention to the Constitution.

Belief in monotheism has now been proposed as a necessary qualification for someone who wants to be president. So if you are a believer in the Dalai Lama’s religion, Buddhism, this country was not meant for you. If you are a follower of Mahatma Gandhi’s religion, Hinduism, – just check your American dream at the door.

Naturally, Gunn’s claim is an outright lie. His overly emotional blather is easily falsified by merely asking for his claim to be backed up with proof. Unfortunately, Gunn missed his target, because there is no one anywhere who has seriously made up such a proposal. No no religious organization, no Party, no, city, town, State, or Federal government proposal has been introduced anywhere in this country that a religious test be proposed to act as a qualification to run for president. Heck, not even a single candidate has uttered such nonsense.

Pin the Noose on the Honky

Ramming multiculturalism, diversity, and intolerant-tolerance down the throats of captive students keeps many public schools quite busy. But unwelcome menaces like critical thinking and factual history jeopardize this multicultural indoctrination of students; consequently, many politically correct educators have fought shamelessly and successfully to abolish these perceived “threats” from their classrooms. While PC terms often sound nontoxic and even advantageous, they have actually served to strangle the ability to think.

The disturbing news from Jena, Louisiana, elucidates my point. Racial mayhem has struck this small town. There we have two racial sub-cultures that clearly expose the foolishness of the PC agenda engulfing America. Multicultural zealots insist that all cultures are equal. In fact, they encourage individuals to mindlessly celebrate the culture in which they were born – especially if an individual’s culture runs diametrically opposite to America’s productive melting-pot society. Even more troublesome, to support assimilating into America’s mainstream traditions equates to an abominable sin in multiculturalism’s pagan religion.

On the other hand, the two cultures clashing in Jena help to expose political correctness for the sham that it is. If these two sub-cultures (one white, one black) of American society are equal to every other culture, then what’s the problem? Obviously, these two cultures are counterproductive for the people who live them – that’s the problem! Many other worldly cultures are counterproductive, too. Muslims who see all non-Muslims as infidels — worthy of slaughter — is a relevant example.

ACLU: Let Inciters of Hate Into USA

Leave it to the ACLU to advocate for the US government to allow hate spewing Imams to get a free pass to come into the country and incite their hatred.

ACLU: US Can’t Bar Terrorism Supporters

NEW YORK (AP) - A civil rights group asked a judge Friday to find it unconstitutional for the federal government to exclude a prominent Muslim scholar or anyone else from the United States on the grounds that they may have endorsed or espoused terrorism. The American Civil Liberties Union filed the papers attacking the policy in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

It is one thing to think long and hard about what government allows legal American citizens to say. It certainly goes to the core of freedom of speech that we shy from telling Americans that their brand of political speech is disallowed. That is why, for instance, the KKK is allowed to do their marches.

But, this is a different animal. These are hate spewing, foreigners the ACLU is advocating for. (So much for the word “American” in their name)

The Constitution, as the saying goes, is NOT a suicide pact, but here is the ACLU fighting for foreigner’s “rights” — I think they should drop the “A” for American since they want to suit up to fight for foreign terrorists — and trying to force the government to allow people into this country who’s chief goal is to destroy it.

Would you meekly open the door for a home invader who knocks and boldly announces his intentions to rob and kill you? Apparently the ACLU wants us to do just that.
