    Hat Tip: Bookwormroom

Does this video cartoon produced in 1932 remind you of any current candidates? Yes, only ALL OF THEM!

Ok to Bash Mr. Bush; Not Ok to Bash Mrs. Clinton

    Hat Tip: Evan Coyne Maloney

My friend Evan Coyne Maloney personally interviewed Michael Moore a few years back and asked him if his documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, which slammed President Bush, should be considered a campaign ad and therefore subject to campaign finance rules. Of course Michael Moore said no, “that his film should be treated like an op-ed in the paper.”

“But now that there’s a new film about Hillary Clinton, all of a sudden, campaign finance laws do apply to political perspective films…”

Hillary Clinton Slammed by Washington Post

Funny video slamming Hillary Clinton. You know Mrs. Clinton is on her way down when even leftist newspapers like The Washington Post come after her.

    This video is “Hillarious”.

    Collectivism Is Never Entirely Voluntary

Ken Marrero nails it once again in his post Go West, Young Man…

I have had discussions with Collectivist Socialists who say that it is fine to force those who produce to give to those who don’t. You know “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need.”

To that I say; if every single person votes to institute Socialism then it is acceptable, but if even one individual votes against it, then it is tyranny.

The greatest service an individual can perform for his fellow man is to be self sufficient.

Ken’s post Go West, Young Man… follows:

I’ve been writing and thinking about Socialism of late and I realized, while running down a mental rabbit trail, that Socialism only functions if there is a strong, large central government. I’m unaware of any Socialist government that developed naturally. All examples I can think of came about when an existing central government was co-opted by Socialists and its power and resources were twisted to fit the new agenda. Sometimes the process is sudden and violent and sometimes slow and subtle, but it remains true that Socialism aggressively inserts itself into a society, it is not welcomed in as a liberator.

There is plenty of evidence it is trying to do so here in the US despite its very public history of failure. The question is not, “How can we stop it?” The issue is much more subtle, in my opinion. The question is, why are we asking the question at this point in time? Put another way, “How has Socialism made such inroads that we’re having to ask at all?”

It would appear that after only 390 years or so, our populace has reached a place where the values and spirit that created the brilliant governmental supernova that was the American Republic no longer run deep in our hearts.

Mrs. Clinton and “The Mother-in-Law Factor”

I knew it would come, I just didn’t know when. In the New Hampshire debate Hillary Clinton does something that will not be revealed to someone reading a transcript of the exchange. Mrs. Clinton sounded angry and frustrated with the tinge of arrogance and sharp tongue of a stereotypical mother-in-law. This I am sure made every man watching the debate recoil no matter what his party affiliation may be.

I think women watching felt some revulsion also. I mean nobody regardless of gender likes an obnoxious know-it-all mother-in-law. That is the position for which Mrs. Clinton is vying…Mother-In-Law to the United States. She knows how to manage your finances, children, diet and life better than you do; just ask her or watch her political ad where she appears to be giving gifts to Americans in exchange for their votes.

Now that the crack has formed in Mrs. Clinton’s phony facade, we will soon see more of the Mrs. Clinton Mother-in-Law Factor“.

Clinton Collectivism Wrapped in a Bow

Mrs. Clinton was quoted not long ago saying that she has “a million ideas, but America can’t afford them all.” This video illustrates the Collectivist nature of Hillary Clinton and some examples of why we cannot afford to have her as president.

Mrs. Clinton came out with a campaign commercial recently that literally shows Hillary Clinton playing the roll of national parent or nanny dispensing government largess in the form of gifts wrapped in bows. She even has the gall to show that a tax-cut is possible while throwing the $45 Trillion plus dollars down a rabbit hole for “gifts.”

To use government power to force people who produce to provide “gifts” for people who do not produce is immoral.

    The Incredible Shrinking Candidate

Richard Disney | Hillary Clinton, National Politics, Socialist Democrats | Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Watching Hillary Clinton campaign for president is entertaining to say the least. Hillary is a candidate who must hookwink her constituency more than most to win the election. She cannot point to any real accomplishments except to say that she married Bill Clinton.

We simply would not have even heard of Hillary Rodham if she had not at one time been The President’s Wife. The arrogance and presumption with which she addresses the masses is palpable and contributes to her lack of likability. If she wins (and it is looking more and more like an if) it will be the biggest accomplishment of public relations over substance in the history of politics.

If Hillary Clinton is elected president, unfortunately the American people will get what they deserve. Perseption can and is molded by the “Old Media Establishment” but there are chinks of reality that are continuing to seep in from the New Media. One can only hope that a few rays of reality shine on Hillary Clinton and that the majority of Americans percieve them over the hologram projected by the Clinton campaign. Democrats are being told that by electing Hillary they are putting in the White House some Wizard of Oz that can solve all of their problems. In reality Hillary’s image is shrinking down to the reality of a nutty collectivist pulling strings and blowing smoke behind the curtain.
