So, my goal was to post a blog on a fairly regular basis. The problem is, I’m not that creative, but I hope to become that way by posting more frequently.
Regardless, I snagged this story off of Drudge today and thought it was time appropriate with our own elections just right around the corner. I know nothing about this Rosales character, but could he be worse than Chavez? Maybe, but one can sure hope not.
Mr Rosales condemned what he called the cheque book diplomacy of Mr Chavez, accusing him of giving away Venezuela’s oil wealth to foreign powers.
At any rate, it’s just impossible to root for Chavez in an election. I cannot imagine the election process being fair in Venezuela with a communist dictator already in power.
Well, it seems like the poor and working class still feel a sense of loyalty toward Chavez. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with him seizing private land and giving it to them or not. (That tone should be interpreted as sarcastic)
But for now, Mr Chavez still enjoys a clear lead in opinion polls because of a sense of loyalty that poor and working-class voters feel towards him.
I would be more excited about the opposing candidate, but this little ditty just sounds bad:
…a middle-class Social Democrat who governs the state of Zulia, on the Colombian border.
Feel free to educate me regarding the upcoming “elections” in Venezuela — in a nice way of course because I really don’t like mean people.

Well, he does run the elections for terrorist organizations such as Hamas. It would stand to reason that he will be an election judge for an evil communist dictator too.

I’ve got a feeling that Chavez is going to win regardless of how the vote turns out anyway. Is Jimmy Carter running the election again this time?
