I guess my question would be why? Others have already been given pleas for their testimonies against Vick. Apparently, playing the race card is paying off.
That comes on the heels of news that co-defendants Purnell Peace and Quanis Phillips are scheduled to appear in federal court in Richmond at the end of the week and are expected to accept their own plea agreements. Peace’s hearing is at 9 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, while Phillips will appear on Friday at the same time. Plea agreements would clear them to testify against Vick.

In a Richmond, Va., court in late July, Vick pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities, and conspiring to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture. He said in a written statement that he looked forward to “clearing my good name.” He also pleaded with the public to resist a rush to judgment.
Good luck with clearing your good name Michael. In the meantime, I think the team is ready to move on without the gangsta:
“I don’t think anybody on this team right now is hoping that Mike comes back,” Dunn said. “If he comes back, that’s great, but I just think right now we’re at point where the guys that are here are trying to get better and move on down the road. Mike is going to be missed and has been missed, but at the same time you have to go on.”

Tammi………I was in the dentists chair for 4 hours today and I saw the news ticker out of the side of my eye on FOX News and there was some reference to Vick being involved in some al Queada thing. Never got the full story. Your site looks great…..! I’ve gotten way behind in my Blog reading due to my brother-in-laws estate that I am administering and there are some really critical time sesitive issues that is costing me about 24/7 right now……steve

Excellent point regarding Vic. I was thinking the same thing … that he could get an OJ jury in the Atlanta area. Though many people feel more sorry for abused animals than murdered ex-spouses, not sure why. Both are terrible.

I’m leaving town tomorrow, but will finish with this Michael Vic garbage as the story continues to break. It sounds like he’s probably going to plea and maybe wind up serving a year in prison and trying to salvage his NFL career. I guess I’m following it, because I love football, and even the NFL to a degree. They are getting very difficult to tolerate as so many thugs seem to be making their way into the sport.
Anyway — sorry about the comment issues. I’ll be checking it sporadically over the weekend and next week to see how it’s working.

Kevin- thank you for the input on my blog issues with the dark grey showing for the one reader. I think you are right that is happening, if I have any more complaints i will just change the background. And as far as the rays…. I actually used a stock illustration that had rays in it- and then tweaked around, combined things, added things etc. but as far as the actual rays I haven’t didn’t do it. Although I would think if you created the shape once, then did copy pasted and kept lining them up until they formed a horizon- that would work as well
