I know Bridget … I do feel bad for the good guys who really don’t get much press for exemplifying the character they do on a normal basis. In reality, the good guys probably like it that way. Makes it easier to focus on being the superb athletes they are.

Tammi………Susan and I were talking today that this jerk sacrificed a $120 million contract and now looks at having to return a $22 million signing bonus. What kind of idiot would let that “roll” on a stupid bet on any illegal activity. Some people are too dumb to deserve those kind of resources. I agree with Bridget, these guys should be kissing the ground with gratitude and good behavior for having the opportunities that the lottery of life has dealt them……..steve

We move from Janet Jackson to Michael Vic. Good to see that the NFL is trying to have a good image. There’s no reason for athletes to conduct themselves with anything but dignity and grace.

I heard something last night about the Falcons being allowed to go after a 20 some million dollar signing bonus they gave Vick. I think that’s terrific. A thug in society is bad enough, but you give one millions of $$$ and it becomes a worse problem. With any luck, his defense attorneys will suck him dry financially. Though, the NAACP might start footing his bills too.

I agree John. Really, what has he done for the Falcons besides flip the bird to their fans? Not much. There are plenty of talented QBs to go around. Well, not as talented as the Manning boys, but still enough.

At least this isn’t much of a loss to football. The guy was a mediocre quarterback at best. Basically Kordell Stewart, but just a bit better. And we all know how it turned out for Kordell. Or maybe it was Cordell. See what I mean?
