Yay!! It’s Friday and I’ve been slacking on Comment of the Week. We will resume play today.
This week’s honors will go to our favorite pachyderm from the Guess Who’s First post:
Well, as you know, you aren’t supposed to spank anyone in California, so how else is one supposed to impose discipline on those wild-child states?
Congrats to Wyoming. The primaries will be over by Halloween, at this rate. (Cripes, if Hillary wins the Dem primary, that’ll be a scare for everyone.)
That would be a scare for everyone Bridget!
Remember how to play:
- Go back to your own blog and find your favorite comment that someone left you
- Copy it and bring it back here and post it in the comments of this post
- Please feel free to link back to your blog /post where the comment took place and also the commenter’s blog.
- If your comment gets caught in the moderation queue, call me. Just kidding! I have a new plugin that should let you through the spam filter, even with the links! We’ll see, huh?
- Okay — please play! Show some love!

The best comment on my site was:
“Kevin, you are so funny! You are the coolest guy I know. You are the epitome of manhood. Any woman would be proud to be your wife. All other ladies envy your wife for her fantastic luck in marrying you.”
Sadly, it was written by me.
It’s a good thing you ‘fessed up Kevin, cuz I was getting ready to head to your site to see who wrote that.
I need to head over there regardless … just to keep an eye on what you’re up to.
Awwww!!! Thank you, Tammi!
My turn to play. Washed & Forgiven on some “show me state” pride:
Total Transformation, beating up on me for being against choice:
UnderEducated Opinion nailed the hypocrisy of the pro-abort, anti-doctor camp:
Sad, but true. Can we just see a liberal mistakenly suing an abortionist, putting him out of business, and shutting down PP before realising that the MD in question is not an OB-GYN?
Finally, the classic, the winner, from Sunday School Teacher, on rules designed to protect box turtles:
ZING!
Wow! Zing is right! Look at all those comments you get when you get around to blogging Bridget.
Knut helped me pick your comment for the Comment of the Week. He says you’re very welcome.
In my Mid-weekly Roundup post I pointed out how some Darwinists were glorying in hiding books about Intelligent Design in bookstores. Edgar, who runs the The Christian Alert blog, said:
“We should consider pulling the old switch-a-roo and put “Hell” related books in the Self-Help Section… or a “Happy Mother’s Day Card” right next to the Maxim Magazines…”
Hi Neil,
Great comment — thanks for bringing it over. You get some pretty good threads going over at your place all the time. Thank for linking Edgar too!
Knut helped out? That makes it even better!
At your suggestion, I submit another Bridget comment to the Comment of the Week! From my “I want to get rid of that thing…” post,
But I have to admit, Matthew’s comment on the same post runs a close second:
You know me, I’m on board whenever there’s talk of castrating stupid men.
Hi Bridget,
Yes, I am becoming a little obsessed with that bear.
Good job Tieki! I knew you had some comments for participation. With a post like I want to get rid of that thing — you’re bound to get some colorful commenting.
