Yes, because Suadi Arabia is the kind of country we should really model ourselves after. What an outstanding gem of a country. Really. They could use some envoronmentalist "wackos" and some feminists while we're at it, whip those men into shape.

Seriously though, when will people everywhere realize this planet is not ours to destroy and use up...there are sustainable solutions that don't cause the wholesale rape and destruction of wildlife, landscape and the innocent animals that inhabit it.

Why not protect the pygmy rabbit? Can't we find a way to peacefully produce energy without displacing an entire species?

I'm not a wacko, just someone that values animal life and wildlife more than I value greedy selfish money hungry corporations.

Hi Tammi........reading the top of the post about Saudi oil and environmental wacos it brought on irony to mind. You know the leftists continue to rail against US drilling more wells, especially in Alaska (notwhistanding advanced technology drilling that can avoid any environmental damage) in order to protect the planet.

The irony here is that the net change in the use of oil because of their efforts is a zero sum game with everyone using as much oil as they might have if we were drilling the wells, the only difference being our dependenc on foreign oil and all the money running overseas (along with American jobs)..........steve

Rabbits do taste just like chicken (ever wonder what stuff would taste like if God didn't create chickens?). It's been several years since I've had rabbit, but it is pretty good.

At any rate, it's always "wabbit season" in Wyoming since they fall under the category of "small game."

Good one Scott. :)

I agree Bridget, the bunny is cute and I don't knowingly eat rabbits. I hear it tastes like chicken, but I'll just stick to chicken thanks. :)

Also, aren't rabbits known for their extremely rapid reproduction rate? I think they can survive the energy development just fine.

Okay, I snorted laughing at Scott's response.

Frickin heck.... Seriously, people. Does anyone understand what is going to happen to the environment when our refineries break down, and when regulations make it too difficult to build "green" energy plants? One of the best things we can do for the environment is to ENCOURAGE the development and building of new plants, factories, and refineries, because we can make them greener, cleaner, and leaner than every before.

Yes, the rabbit is really cute. How 'bout I adopt a few of them, then we'll get to developing enough power plants to keep Al Gore's house from going dark?
