<description>I'd be pretty excited if I was stuck under a recliner and someone had the kindness to raise the footstool, too! :-D

		<description>Hi Scott,
She didn't seem too upset when Ted raised the foot stool and she came scooting out -- almost like she thought it was funny. Seriously, this little dog knows how to make noise, she apparently was choosing not to for some odd reason. Silly dog!

Hi Sam,
Notice Tieki finally did run away to college. :) And no, there were no presents under the chair -- lucky for Ted. ;)

Oh DI,
So glad you found that dog! I know what those four days were like, as we actually lost another Boston Terrier over 10 years ago when we were still in Dodge City, KS. We were moving from the country into town and once again, it was Ted's fault ;) , he was moving stuff in from the moving trailer and came inside for no more than 5 minutes when he remembered that Cori, our then Boston, was still outside. Well, of course she was nowhere to be found and had never been in town before. To make matters worse, it started snowing several inches. We looked for several days, put an ad in the paper and radio, and put posters up. Finally, a week later, the pound called and told us that they had picked her up from a lady that took her in from the cold. Such a relief! Needless to say, I was having flashbacks to 1995 when Daisy disappeared yesterday and the temperature started to plummet. I'm glad she was trapped under that chair! I'm glad someone gave your pup roast beef too!

Oh yeah, imagine me also wondering how I was going to tell Tieki that we lost her dog! Ugh! I want no part of that.

<description>So glad you found her and she only went through the trauma of being trapped in her own livingroom. When my eldest dog was about a year old, I took her bird hunting on Christmas Day because I felt bad I had missed most of the season with her to date. She bailed on me (after a pheasant) and I spent four days looking for her almost non-stop. The warmest night in the three that followed was 18°. When I finally found her, she had traveled 22 miles and had to be lured and "trapped" in a kind man's garage (using their evening's roast beef as bait... they let her eat it all, too). She was so frail and skinny back then I was worried that coyotes would get her if the cold didn't. She hasn't left my side since, thus it seems it was a hard but permanent lesson. I guess our doggies need a taste of the real world to grasp what cool owners they actually have!

HA! Best to you and your family, Tammi.

<description>If you treat your dog like that, I shudder to think where you kept Tieki when you didn't want her to run off.

Did she leave any presents under the recliner?</description>
