Obama Opposes “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Policy

From CBS News.

Never mind the fact that it would cost millions of dollars to revoke the policy and let gays serve openly in the military. I cannot even believe it would be in the best interest of a person to serve openly gay in the armed forces. Of course, the homosexual agenda propagators really could not give a rat’s patoot about the efficiency and well-being of our military. Their goal is to simply shove their agenda down everyone else’s throats.

The last time I checked, our military actually served a purpose of protecting our nation, not some asinine cause of advancing the perverted propaganda for the homosexual agenda.

Here’s Obama’s take on things:

“But I think there’s increasing recognition within the Armed Forces that this is a counterproductive strategy,” he said. “We’re spending large sums of money to kick highly qualified gays or lesbians out of our military, some of whom possess specialties like Arab-language capabilities that we desperately need. That doesn’t make us more safe.”

I’d like to see the actual large sums of money that are being spent to kick highly qualified gays or lesbians out of the military.

Isn’t it cute how Obama refers to the gays and lesbians as highly qualified? He goes on:

Asked what he could reasonably accomplish for the gay community as president, Obama said he can “reasonably see” repeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy as well as signing legislation to ban workplace discrimination against gays. He said he’d like transgendered people to be covered by the law, but thinks it would be tough to get such legislation through Congress.

Is it just me, or are others getting fagged from the LGBT bunch?

Christian Photographer Hauled Before Commission For Refusing Same-Sex Job

I’ve been extremely busy, but I know I need to post. So, I’m going to hat tip the lovely VelvetHammer and copy her post. Many of you may have already seen this at Velvet’s place, but for those of you who haven’t — is this an outrage or what?

By John Jalsevac

New Mexico, January 30, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The case of a Christian photographer who refused to photograph a same-sex “commitment ceremony”, was heard before the New Mexico Human Rights Division on Monday.

A same-sex couple asked Elaine Huguenin, co-owner with her husband of Elane Photography, to photograph a “commitment ceremony” that the two women wanted to hold. Huguenin declined because her Christian beliefs are in conflict with the message communicated by the ceremony.

The same-sex couple filed a complaint with the New Mexico Human Rights Division, which is now trying Elane Photography under state antidiscrimination laws for sexual orientation discrimination.

The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), a legal alliance that is dedicated to defending and protecting religious freedom, sanctity of life, marriage, and family, is currently defending Elane Photography. Continue Reading …

It makes me proud that Tieki Rae desires to work for an organization such as the Alliance Defense fund when she finishes school. I believe she’ll give ‘em heck. :)

Once again, thank you Velvet for these outrageous finds you dig up.

Everything You Never Wanted to Know …

But freaking colleges are bound and determined to show you. The Chairman of the College Republicans sent out a letter in attempt to organize a protest:

Dear Republicans,

It has come to my attention and the attention of your executive board that
this Friday at 8 PM there will be a session in Goldwin Smith entitled
“Anal Sex 101″ that is funded by our student activities fee. The Student
activities fee is the sum of money that we currently use to support
different organizations around campus that put on large scale events.
While we do not think that all events funded under that fee have to
conform to our conservative stances, we also believe that condoning such a
moral atrocity using our own student money is abhorrent and should not go
unnoticed.

To that effect, we will be meeting on Friday at 6:30 PM in the lobby of
Goldwin Smith to make signs that protest the event. If you believe that
your money shouldn’t be going towards funding events of such morally
atrocious nature, if you believe that the dean of students office should
not be encouraging or condoning such a practice, or if you believe that
people shouldn’t be forced to pay into a system that uses their money to
to teach things which are not within the bound of mainstream moral decency
then you must come and protest! We need as much support as we can get
–this is our chance to share our values and let everyone know that
Conservatives are a strong and vocal voice on this campus.

For alumni that are receiving this email I would urge you to make your
opinion heard on this issue through contacting the dean of Students Kent
Hubbell at klh4@cornell.edu.

See you at 6:30 PM in the lobby of Goldwin Smith.

Conservatively,
Ahmed Salem
Chairman, Cornell College Republicans

How about that mission statement of the LGBTs?

Our mission is to coordinate the efforts of the entire Cornell University community to ensure the inclusion of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, and to eliminate heterosexism and gender identity oppression.

The Resource Center affirms lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender identities and lives, and provides education, outreach, programming, program support, consultation, community development, visibility, and advocacy.

In other words, if you don’t agree with their immorality, you are the intolerant one. I can live with that.
