Tyson Foods warms up to Islam

What is there to say? I’m going to stop purchasing Tyson Foods. There are plenty of other choices and this is just ridiculous.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - Workers at the Tyson Foods poultry processing plant in Shelbyville will no longer have a paid day off on Labor Day but will instead be given the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr as a holiday.

According to a news release from the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, a new 5-year contract at the plant included the change to accommodate the hundreds of Somali Muslims who work at the plant .

Eid al-Fitr — which falls on Oct. 1 this year — marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.

Union leaders say implementing the holiday was important for the nearly 700 Muslims, many of them Somalis, who work at the plant that employs a total of 1,200 people.

The Shelbyville Times-Gazette newspaper quotes union spokesman Randy Hadley as saying the negotiating team felt this change was “extremely crucial, since this holiday is as important to Muslims as Christmas is to Christians.”

The newspaper also quotes the union as saying two prayer rooms have been created at the Shelbyville Tyson Foods’ plant ” to allow Muslim workers to pray twice a day and return to work without leaving the plant.”

So, what about the 500 other employees who aren’t Muslim? Do they no longer get Labor Day? Also, do the 2 prayers a day count as their breaks, or is this in addition to?

Shooting at Jerusalem Seminary kills 10; wounds 35

What a tragedy. Honestly, it makes me ill to think about this senseless murderous behavior. Our thoughts and prayers sincerely go out to the victims of this massacre.

At the time of the AP article, no one had claimed responsibility for this heinous act. However, always true to form:

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip praised the operation, and thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of Gaza to celebrate.

What pigs.

Hamas stopped just short of claiming responsibility for the Jerusalem shootings. “We bless the operation. It will not be the last,” Hamas said in a statement sent to reporters by text message.

Oh, and this little gem:

At his West Bankheadquarters, Abbas condemned the attack. “The president condemned all attacks that target civilians, whether they are Palestinian or Israeli,” a statement said.

Excuse me, but Israelis never target innocent civilians, that is the way of the terrorist, not the way of civilized nations such as the US and Israel. But, as far as I’m concerned, all those asshats dancing in the street celebrating this attack, lose their status as innocent civilians.

Thank God more were not killed thanks to heroes like this:

One of the students, Yitzhak Dadon, said he shot the attacker twice in the head. “I laid on the roof of the study hall, cocked my gun and waited for him. He came out of the library spraying automatic fire,” he said.

JERUSALEM — Hamas Islamists have claimed responsibility for a Jerusalem shooting attack at a Jewish religious school that killed eight people, Reuters reports.

Classless, gutless pigs. Well, if only they had the class of pigs.

Take a good look at the smirks on their faces. These animals desire peace? Hardly. They are nothing but blood thirsty savages and need to be completely annihilated.

How would you feel if someone you loved had just been murdered, and then, adding insult to injury, these barbarians celebrate? I simply cannot imagine being so inhumane.

Many friends have been blogging about the British school teacher who let her students name a teddy bear muhammad.

But, where do the feminists stand on the issue? Well, over at Newsbusters, it appears that the scum sucking sluts over at The View blame the school teacher — for not respecting the culture. Yeah, that makes sense your freaking idiot morons:

SHERRI SHEPHERD: I think it’s like it’s sacrilegious to name a stuffed toy Muhammad. But you know, you would think that with her being in Sudan, she would know the rules and customs. Because I know I performed stand up in Turkey, and they gave me a big thick packet on the customs, and what you could and could not do, and how you would offend people. So I’m surprised that she didn’t know it might be offensive.

GOLDBERG: Yeah, because you’d think if you’re going overseas, I mean, we had this discussion yesterday about people coming to America and learning the customs and knowing what is cool, and what isn’t cool. But I find that maybe we are not- and I say we just as European and American, we’re not as anxious to learn the customs before we go places. It’s just one of the reasons we’re called the ugly Americans.

Why is it that no one is thinking of the poor Teddy Bear having to live with the name of a false prophet and real pedophile?

Sheikh delays plane over seating

Found this over at Doctor Bulldog’s place. Wouldn’t you just be livid if you were on this flight? From Reuters:

MILAN (Reuters) - A Qatar sheikh held up a British Airways flight at Milan’s Linate airport for nearly three hours after discovering three of his female relatives had been seated next to men they did not know.

When none of the other business class passengers agreed to swap seats, the sheikh, a member of Qatar’s ruling family, went to the pilot, who had already started the engine, to complain, an airport official said.

But the pilot ordered him and his traveling companions, the three women, two men, a cook and a servant, off the plane.

The London-bound flight took off nearly three hours behind schedule Thursday evening and around 50 of the 115 passengers missed connecting flights.

Traditions in the conservative Gulf Arab region bar women from mixing with unrelated men.

Then I guess these women should never have booked a ticket on the airline in the first place? Give me a freaking break! Of course, you know there will be litigation. Can you imagine missing your connection due to this moron? I get ticked just reading about it.
