Happy Mother’s Day!

I hope all my friends who are mothers have a wonderful Mother’s Day. I was blessed with beautiful flowers from Tieki, but the real gift comes when she flies home tomorrow.

At any rate, I’m happy that my child didn’t turn out like this one. ;) At least she was kind enough to request to the hit man, that if you shoot her with a shot gun, don’t shoot her in the face please. Even says please. What a sweetie. As for the mom, she’s good:

“I love her dearly,” Stribel told ABC News.

Stribel declined to comment further, saying, “We both have Mother’s Day this weekend. We need a little time for healing.”

I would need a lot of time for healing after that little plot, but I’m just funny that way.

Shooting at Jerusalem Seminary kills 10; wounds 35

seminaryattack.jpgWhat a tragedy. Honestly, it makes me ill to think about this senseless murderous behavior. Our thoughts and prayers sincerely go out to the victims of this massacre.

At the time of the AP article, no one had claimed responsibility for this heinous act. However, always true to form:

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip praised the operation, and thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of Gaza to celebrate.

What pigs.

Hamas stopped just short of claiming responsibility for the Jerusalem shootings. “We bless the operation. It will not be the last,” Hamas said in a statement sent to reporters by text message.

Oh, and this little gem:

At his West Bankheadquarters, Abbas condemned the attack. “The president condemned all attacks that target civilians, whether they are Palestinian or Israeli,” a statement said.

Excuse me, but Israelis never target innocent civilians, that is the way of the terrorist, not the way of civilized nations such as the US and Israel. But, as far as I’m concerned, all those asshats dancing in the street celebrating this attack, lose their status as innocent civilians.

Thank God more were not killed thanks to heroes like this:

One of the students, Yitzhak Dadon, said he shot the attacker twice in the head. “I laid on the roof of the study hall, cocked my gun and waited for him. He came out of the library spraying automatic fire,” he said.

JERUSALEM —  Hamas Islamists have claimed responsibility for a Jerusalem shooting attack at a Jewish religious school that killed eight people, Reuters reports.

Classless, gutless pigs. Well, if only they had the class of pigs.

Take a good look at the smirks on their faces. These animals desire peace? Hardly. They are nothing but blood thirsty savages and need to be completely annihilated.

How would you feel if someone you loved had just been murdered, and then, adding insult to injury, these barbarians celebrate? I simply cannot imagine being so inhumane.

Killer of Christians in Colorado

UPDATE 3: From the Coloradoan.com via Slapstick Politics:

The gunman was shot and killed by a female member of the church’s armed security staff, the source said. Four people were shot, and the source did not know their conditions or whether the shooter was one of the four. A SWAT team was searching the building for an explosive device, but the source could not confirm any details. 

Now, I’ve got to get to bed. Please relay any updates you find as I’ll be working all day tomorrow. It is also now known that a teenage girl was killed in the CO Springs shootings. May God comfort them.

UPDATE 2: I’m watching Fox News and the report is that New Life Church in Colorado Springs has armed guards, and it was an armed guard that shot the killer. Thank God! Thank God they did not have to wait on police to arrive!

Rocky Mountain News has the story:

A gunman opened fire in the parking lot of a Colorado Springs church today, hitting four people, the church’s pastor said.

The conditions of the people shot outside the New Life Church were not known, El Paso County Sheriff’s Lt. Lari Sevene said.

Lance Coles, a pastor at New Life Church, told The Associated Press he received a report that a man was shooting at people in the church parking lot and that the gunman may have entered the church shortly after 1 p.m.

Police believe the shooter may be “down” inside the church’s main sanctuary.

Officers said one person was detained in the investigation, but wouldn’t confirm a statement from a church official that the lone gunman was dead. Hundreds remained locked in church buildings as police conducted what they said was a precautionary search for additional gunmen, police Lt. Fletcher Howard said.

It was unknown what condition the victims were in or how many were shot. New Life Associate Pastor Rob Brendle said there were fewer than 10 victims.

So much missing information in the entire story. Please let me know if you hear anything new regarding this murderous spree.

It was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away in Arvada. There, two people died and two were wounded early today when a gunman opened fire in a dormitory at a missionary training center on the campus of Faith Bible Chapel.

Of course, the article also mentions the church in CO is the same one Ted Haggard pastored and doesn’t fail to list the offenses against him. Sorry, that ticks me off and has NOTHING to do with a killer shooting people, possibly in two different CO locations. Just the media getting their jabs in. Freaking RETARDED!

Is CO a conceal and carry state? Are the police responsible for the downed gunman inside the New Life Church sanctuary, or an armed civilian? So many questions … please, bring any updates here as you find them out. Also, link your sources. In the meantime, if you are a prayer, pray for the victims of this terrible ordeal and their families.

So the shooter killed only two and wounded two others. Too bad he didn’t have more time to get some more. Religious missionaries are very legitimate targets since they stick their noses into other people’s private religious affairs. America needs more shootings like this in the future to put the religious fanatics and loonies in their place.

Gunman Kills Eight, Then Kills Himself, at Omaha Shopping Mall

We need to pray for the people in Omaha — especially victims and relatives of victims.

UPDATE: Very strange coincidence. I heard Debora Maruca-Kovac, a surgical nurse at Nebraska Medical Center, being interviewed by some guy on CNN before we left for church tonight. Funny thing, she forgot to mention that, “Oh by the way, the kid who shot these people today has been living with my family over the last year.” The CNN guy had no clue when he had her on the phone earlier. Typical homicidal maniac:

Though he had his troubles, Hawkins was gentle and loved animals, Maruca-Kovac said.

But he also had a drinking problem and would occasionally smoke marijuana in his bedroom, she said. Hawkins liked to listen to music and play video games “normal teenager stuff,” she said.

“He was a very helpful young man, but he was quiet,” Maruca-Kovac said. “He didn’t cause a lot of trouble. He tried to help out all the time. He was very thankful for everything. He wasn’t a violent person at all.”

Call me cynical, but I don’t believe a word of it.

Students Strap On Empty Holsters to Protest Gun Restrictions on Campus

I guess we’ve learned nothing from the tragic murder of defenseless college students attending VA Tech. Well, nothing the people from the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence Group want us to remember.

The entire article can be found here, but this is the part I find dumbfounding:

“You don’t like the fact that you can’t have a gun on your college campus? Drop out of school,” said Peter Hamm, a spokesman for the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

When someone pulls out a gun and starts firing in a crowded environment, it’s more likely that additional victims will be harmed, Hamm said.

“Let’s be grateful that those holsters are empty,” he said.

Isn’t that mature? If you don’t like being stripped of your 2nd Amendment rights, drop out of school. Wouldn’t the Brady Bunch just love that? Only Libtards are welcome at universities now. Only in your wild and wacky dreams Mr. Hamm.

The practicality of students being able to carry their concealed weapons on campus was hashed out at the time of the VA Tech murderous rampage. Apparently the Brady Bunch believes that American citizens are ready to just duck and cover again. Not so much with the Students for Concealed Carry on Campus Group:

College students across the country have been strapping empty holsters around their waists this week to protest laws that prohibit concealed weapons on campus, citing concerns over campus shootings.

“People who would otherwise be able to defend themselves are left defenseless when on campus,” said Ethan Bratt, a graduate student wearing an empty holster this week on the campus of Seattle Pacific University.

Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, a group of college students, parents and citizens who organized after the deadly shootings at Virginia Tech University in April, launched the protest.

Cops Have Suspect in Hanging Girl of 6

Nothing ticks me off more than feeling the immediate need to post on my blog a story that makes me want to wring someone’s neck. Whose neck? How about for starters the 2 bit slut of mother who brought a pedophile into her home so that he could sexually assault her daughter and then violently murder the child? Sound harsh? I really don’t give a rip. I am sick of worthless parents putting their own feelings and sexual desires above the welfare of their children.

The story is at ABC News and I went off on the comments there too, and I never comment on news stories. I guess I made the exception today.

Oh, and this little gem from the article:

Police asked state caseworkers to not say if Hanna’s family had been investigated by child welfare officers, said Marissa Gonzales, a spokeswoman for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. She characterized the request as uncommon.

Does anyone want to take bets that social service idiots failed this child too?!

I’ve already posted on pedophiles that are attracted to single women with children just so they can have their way with them. Maybe if the media would focus a little bit on domestic issues at home instead of trying to convince us as to how evil Bush and Cheney are, some children might be saved.

I honestly believe that prison is too good for this irresponsible mother. Of course I blame the perpetrator, but he’s just doing what comes natural to sick, twisted, perverted bastards. The mom is responsible, because her job is keep SOBs like this away from her children. Period.

Wanted: A Little Common Sense Parenting

After spending more time than usual reading the news this morning, I found these stories that just scream out, “Get a frickin brain woman!”

There was a part of me that was a little surprised to run across this story. Then, another part that remembered the stupidity involved in leaving a child this age sleeping alone in a hotel room while the parents had a nice romantic dinner to themselves. Newsflash! Drop the kids off at grandma’s if you don’t want them included in the vacation. I know this is coming across harsh for parents whose child has been missing since May. Also, the mom is just considered a suspect, not proven guilty yet. But, the allegation that these idiots may have drugged the little girl so she wouldn’t wake up while they ate dinner? Insane! I do remember at the time thinking it was odd how the media wasn’t really hammering the pair about leaving such a young child alone. Granted, no one is perfect, but I would never leave my three or four year old in a hotel sleeping while I go and eat dinner. That’s just too stupid.

How about the lady not being prosecuted for leaving her toddler in the vehicle all day while she worked? No sympathy here what-so-freaking-ever.

A woman whose 2-year-old daughter died in an overheated car last month had left the girl unattended before and had been warned about the danger that created, according to a police report.

Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby had been told by a former administrator at her 5-year-old daughter’s preschool that the younger sister shouldn’t be left in the car by herself, the Union Township police report said.

This makes my blood boil! Parents, DON’T LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN IN THE CAR ALONE PERIOD! She had been warned? She is in agony? Boo freaking hoo!

I suggest you click on the link and watch the video of this woman unloading her van and walking past the sleeping child over and over and over.

Nesselroad-Slaby lives in Hamilton County, where the Department of Job and Family Services is investigating to determine whether Cecilia’s sister might be at risk.

And finally, raced any trains lately with your children in your car?

An Indiana mom attempted to outrun a freight train at an intersection but didn’t see a train approaching from the other direction and crashed, killing two of her children, police said.

Authorities released a video showing Edie Bolanos attempting to outrun an eastbound train in her minivan by cutting through a parking lot and making a quick turn.

“It seemed that she [Edie Bolanos] was so intent on beating the eastbound train, she never even saw the westbound train that hit her,” Hammond Police Sgt. Michael Jorden said.

Two of Bolanos’ children, Crystal, 11, and Anahi, 8, were ejected from the van and pronounced dead at the scene. The other two children in the van were in stable condition.

Does anyone else see a common denominator amongst these parents? It is such a tragedy that these people’s children will never experience the opportunity to fall in love, get married, and have their own kids. This is all so sad. Parents need to step up to the plate and start taking responsibility for there thoughtless actions.

Gitmo Inmate Pleads for U.S. to Keep Him in Custody

See? Club Gitmo isn’t that bad. The irony is almost too good here. Almost being the key word. :)

An inmate of Guantanamo Bay who spends 22 hours each day in an isolation cell is fighting for the right to stay in the notorious internment camp.

Ahmed Belbacha fears that he will be tortured or killed if the United States goes ahead with plans to return him to his native Algeria.

The London Times reported that Belbacha, who lived in Britain for three years, has filed an emergency motion at the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., asking for his transfer out of Guantanamo to be halted. He was cleared for release from Camp Delta in February and his lawyers believe that his return to Algerian custody is imminent.

Belbacha says that if he returns to Algeria, he faces the threat of torture by security services and murder by Islamist terrorists.

L O freaking L! According to the leftards in this country, the good ol’ USA is the only country that tortures and kills people. What the heck? I think the libtards, starting with mother sheehan, need to ’splain the facts to old Ahmed, don’t you?

Let’s see what Ahmed’s human rights scumbag lawyer thinks:

Zachary Katznelson, senior counsel with the human rights lawyers Reprieve and Belbacha’s lawyer, has asked the US courts to block any transfer.

“Ahmed is being held in camp six, the harshest part of Guantanamo,” he said. “His cell is all steel, there are no windows, he is not allowed to communicate with other prisoners and he gets just two hours exercise each day in a metal cage.

“He says his cell in Guantanamo is like a grave and that, although it sounds crazy, he would rather stay in those conditions than go back to Algeria. The fact is that he is really, really scared about what might happen to him in Algeria.”

Well too freaking bad Ahmed! We really need to close the grave and send you on your merry way. That’s just too much crap from the loser lawyer; trying to bash the United States military out of one side of his mouth, while basically having to admit, that we are so much more civilized that the animals kept at Club Gitmo. Makes me chuckle. Freaking good for nothing hypocrites. Sorry, this is just one of those posts that makes me say freaking too much.

Belbacha’s appeal to stay was rejected by a district court last week after the judge ruled that she had no jurisdiction in the case, despite believing the strength of his claims. His lawyers are prepared to go to the Supreme Court to prevent his transfer.

Our court system was not established to protect foreign terrorists. So, go home Ahmed. The mean ol’ USA is finished with you.
