NOT UNDERSTANDING DEMOCRATS

Dems Haunted by Revived Stereotypes..David Paul Kuhn – Feb 4, 2010 on RCPolitics
Election Day 1988 was only days away. Ronald Reagan was headlining a rally in Nevada. He said the options were the same as “when I stood before you.” Reagan framed the Democratic “choice” as one for “liberal policies of tax and spend, economic stagnation, international weakness, accommodation, and always, always blame America first.”
Reagan-era framing is regaining its relevance. Fair or not, liberalism’s worst stereotypes have returned from the dead to haunt Democrats. “Tax and spend liberal,” it’s back with the charge of being soft onsecurity threats – a claim that dogged Democrats from debates over crime to the Soviets to terrorism.
Democrats branding deteriorated across the board from November 2008 to the close of 2009, according to the McClatchy-Ipsos poll…. The numbers were a light on Barack Obama’s new political terrain, a landscape eerily reminiscent to liberals of the bad old days.
=====
Notice the false assumptions above. Stereotypes? Its what they believe and do. How is that in anyway unfair to say? The democrats are “true believers” in secular socialism. They can’t help it. Even now they 4x the debt and 2x the jobless year 1. They refuse more than cosmetic budget cuts or tax cuts. Now, in Phase II (as usual) America is broke in a mere year and YOU must pay for the bills they ran up on your credit card. Actually, as predicted, its never their fault, the devil made them do it (again). The devil made them pass trillion dollar bills of mostly borrowed money from Red China.
Reagan knew democrats well. He made deep tax cuts (to get out of the Carter recession) and democrat Tip O’Neil (verbally) promised an equal cut in gov-meant spending. The head democrat lied. Tip’s democrat congress spent the EXTRA 40% of revenue generated by the tax cuts. Then the demo-socialists had the nerve to blame Reagan!
So why are so many political writers and voters duped again and again about the DNA of the modern democrats?
Wasn’t Jimmy Carter enough? Now you have J. Carter Obama doubled down.
Did you expect the “bad old days” to morph into “good days”? Based upon what?
