How deliciously ironic! While working on the following
sheehan story, I thought what a bunch of lunatics.
And it dawned on me, then and there how fitting
Tom Cochrane’s song” Lunatic Fringe” was. %-}

History behind the words.

Tom Cochrane Reflects on past as he moves ahead
When Cochrane wrote Lunatic Fringe he was dating a Jewish girl and
was disturbed by the resurgence of anti-semitism in Europe and “the
lunacy of revisionist historians.” His manager at the time warned him
that there was no place in “this disposable pop world” for such lyrics.
