Ironic Surrealism II

It is not fear that grips me… only a heightened sense of things.

Tipster shields lifted by Democrats

Congressional Democrats yesterday declined to protect tipsters who report suspicious behavior from nuisance lawsuits.

“This is a slap in the face of good citizens who do their patriotic duty and come forward, and it caves in to radical Islamists,” said Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Removing that shield is disgraceful, it really is.

  • 2 Chicagoray // Jul 23, 2007 at 3:44 pm

The dhimmi dems only shield the enemies of America, not the lover’s of it as the Iraq war has taught us all. Party full of treason that the Bush justice department has crazily ignored allowing it to reach unpunished levels never seen in our country’s history sadly.

“See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil…”

Especially when they’re possessed by evil.

    Shameful bunch of ass maggots.

Bowing down and flushing our rights, freedoms and Country down the toilet.
We must pretend to not see any evil, or risk repercussions in the form of litigation.

This is the Great USofA! They should be ran out of town on a rail!

They make me want to throw up. Since when does the greatest country in the WORLD, bow down?

How in the hell did we ever become the most powerful nation in the world? Not by caving in, that is for sure!

It wasn’t by playing footsies with the enemy as the dems do today day in and out in the senate and congressional chambers Velvet.

It was by putting the fear of almighty God into our enemies heads so they couldn’t sleep at night while worrying what would happen if they ever fk’d with this country as they do now without regret or reprisal.

  • 8 Velvet Hammer // Jul 23, 2007 at 8:57 pm

    Exactly!!

They do not have this country’s best interests at heart. They are supposed to be the voice of the people. We PAY them.
If they wish to live in a caliphate state under sharia law, then I suggest they high tail out of here. And live under such elsewhere.

These DhimmicRATS who voted against protecting John Does are traitorous garbage…

    absurd thought -
    God of the Universe says

“I’m a pissed off red head.” Remind me not to piss you off infidel sister.

The Democrats should take some lessons from those Scottish folk who beat the $%$ out of the would be terrorists at the airport.

  • 12 InfidelParrot // Jul 24, 2007 at 1:36 pm

I wouldn’t have pissed on that guy at the Scottish airport. I have no idea why that guys put his fire out. Must have been a democrat on vacation there.

  • 13 chicagoray // Jul 24, 2007 at 2:35 pm

I said the same thing here Parrot, I’d let them burn or chased ‘em back into the fire too (damn terrorists) unless it looked like an innocent accident which I don’t believe it did.

Pouring gas on ones self was a good indicator of that. Burn baby burn I woulda’ said. Achmed, meet Allah.

What is wrong with these people? Why is their thinking so skewed? What is going on behind the scenes? What would make someone feel as if they have to placate bullies. Makes me sick. Something has to be done. I don’t what yet but, I got my thinking cap on……

  • 15 Donald Douglas // Jul 24, 2007 at 7:19 pm

VH, they are in a corner. They (Democrats) are so invested in defeat that they can’t support anything that might help in the War on Terror…….steve

    The power of the bloggers!

The Dems, the ‘John Does’ and the blogosphere

Keeping the pressure on to include the provision are Sen. Joe Lieberman, Connecticut Independent and chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, the committee’s ranking member, Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine whose efforts last week fell three votes short of passing the provision to an education bill, and Rep. Pete King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee and an author of the provision.

Some Republican aides are attributing the mounting pressure to support the provision to press reports and the blogosphere, where bloggers turned bloggyists are posting phone numbers of Democrat congressional leaders [Inserted link - VH] and urging readers to call in with their support.

The blogs have been a terrific vehicle for expressing public outrage over Democratic attempts to kill this provision, said a spokesman for Mr. King.

I was remiss to not have included any contact information. I will be editing my above post in order to do so.

Saw that WT piece the other day, thanks for reminding me and others. Indeed bloggers and their/our blogs are becoming a force to be reckoned with Hammer in this present fight and in 2008 without a doubt.

I linked to your post and thread in a post of mine today regarding this provision’s effect on the WOT BTW Velvet.

I wish King were an Illinois rep as he’s a great advocate on our side in the WOT. Contacted him numerous times receiving personal email responses I don’t get from my own rep here in Chicago. Great man in my book.

Keep up your fine work here and Thanks.

When citizens become fearful of the repercussions of reporting criminal activities, they will do one of two things:

Keep quiet and pretend it didn’t happen, and hope it all goes away.

    or

They will take the law into their own hands, become Vigilanties and begin lynching.

  • 21 Velvet Hammer // Jul 26, 2007 at 5:27 am

Thanks Ray for everything! Much appreciated.

You have made a profound point CavMom.
They are pushing those that give a damn about this country a bit to hard. They need to think long and hard about that.
