Shooting Michael Moore

C-Spans’ Brian Lamb interviews writer/director about Shooting Michael Moore on Sunday July 29 at 5PM & 8PM (PST): - A biting, colorful expose of renowned filmmaker -

Davison, MI – July 26, 2007 - Kevin Leffler is a friendly, CPA, tenured assistant professor, and founder of an educational non-profit, who is a life-long resident of Davison, Michigan. Leffler lives outside of Flint, Michigan, Michael Moore’s purported ‘home town.’ That Leffler elected to finance and create a documentary about his old high school and work buddy Michael embraces a rare sort of poetic justice.

Leffler’s Shooting Michael Moore reveals another side of Moore. We learn that while writing books and shooting films that expose America’s inequities and presenting himself as a moral compass, he abused the non-profit status, engaged in questionable tax practices, violated environmental laws, and invested in Halliburton, oil stocks, leading drug companies, and HMO-chains. Additionally, contrary to his public persona, he used and deceived both the “little people” as well as U.S servicemen, and Flint’s populace is still waiting for him to bring promised jobs.

Moore just wants to make money.

A phony and moron rolled into one fat package……

Freethoughts has stayed on top of the Cuban Health Care crisis. In response to Michael Moore’s praise. Mooron Forgot to Tell us About Healthcare for Ordinary Cubans

Doctor Darsi Ferrer from Havana emailed the below pics showing the hospitals and health service for ordinary Cubans

Click on link to view the conditions of public hospitals in Cuba. Shocking conditions of hospitals in squalid disrepair.

Yet another from Freethoughts.
More on Cuban Healthcare Mooron Won’t Tell You

More Cuban doctors sent by the regime to buy political support disguised as ‘medical aid to poor populations’ defected while in Venezuela. In Cuba, they earned a monhtly salary of $15.

Sicko Propaganda @ Front Page Magazine

So let’s go ahead and allow Dr. Julio Cesar Alfonso, who worked within Cuba’s health-care system for years, to remind America of something that should be blatantly obvious: “The treatment Moore and the rescue workers receive in the film was done specifically for them, because the regime knew it would make great propaganda.”

Last but not least…
THIS IS THE FAMOUS ‘GREAT AND FREE HEALTHCARE’ THAT REGULAR CUBANS RECEIVE @ The Real Cuba

One of the greatest fallacies about the so called ‘Cuban Revolution’ has to do with healthcare.

Foreigners who visit Cuba, are fed the official line from Castro’s propaganda machine: “All Cubans are now able to receive excellent healthcare, which is also free.” But the truth is very different. Castro has built excellent health facilities for the use of foreigners, who pay with hard currency for those services.

Argentinean soccer star Maradona, for example, has traveled several times to Cuba to receive treatment to combat his drug addiction. But Cubans are not even allowed to visit those facilities. Cubans who require medical attention must go to other hospitals, that lack the most minimum requirements needed to take care of their patients.

In addition, most of these facilities are filthy and patients have to bring their own towels, bed sheets, pillows, or they would have to lay down on dirty bare mattresses stained with blood and other body fluids.

Moore has been lying via omission since his first film “Roger and Me”. The premise of the film was Moore trying and not getting an interview with the CEO of GM.

He did get the interview, two of them. However, he did not include them in the film.

The left seem very quite on this except for the guys who are releasing Manufacturing Dissent — the expose on Moore.

The amazing thing to me are the number of suckers who glurp it all up like baby birds feasting on mom’s pre-digested offerings.

    Hi V,

Where’s the sport in that? Moore is far to large and slow moving to make a difficult target. Put Kucinich in the cross hairs. He’s small enough to make shooting him a challenge.

The Sicko Documentary Is Banned In Cuba

Although it might look contradictory, the propaganda used in the film to discredit the USA health system while trying to highlight the excellence of the Cuban health system, turned out to be considered “subversive” by the Cuban regime. It so happens that he based his arguments on gross lies that do not represent at all the Cuban health drama.

…In conclusion, it does not surprise anybody in Cuba, that Michael Moore would choose the “Almeijeiras” Hospital to demonstrate the excellence of the Cuban Health System. The explanation is simple: none of the ruinous hospitals available to the Cuban people could have been used to film his ill intentioned documentary. And, of course, the tyranny can not afford to have the people see this documentary showing what everybody knows is not the reality of the Cuban health system, one of several show places where the average Cuban citizen is denied access. For this reason the documentary is banned in Cuba.
