Ironic Surrealism II

It is not fear that grips me… only a heightened sense of things.

~ Films to me that are above par. Interesting slices of life as I like to call them. For the most part anyway’s. You see I do not normally go for the traditional cookie cutter films that Hollywood so loves to spew out. Although there are exceptions. Foreign and Indie films are more my taste. Especially those filmed in Ireland, Scotland and Australia. Films set in the American deep south also.

I do not just watch a film, for entertainment purposes alone. I like to feed my brain. I’d rather have something to chew on, than to watch an actor chew on the scenary, or even worse be assulted by lines that are masquerading as part of a so called script.

They will not be in any particular order. I am fond of each and every one in thier own right.
This will just be my insight to what films I deem worth while. Personal opinion’s of a huge film buff.

I am no expert though, by any means. Have never taken even one film class. So I will not be able to discuss films in detail. I just know what I like.
Plain and simple.
;)

Russell Crowe says he is getting too old to be an action hero? I didn’t see that one coming. He’s an awesome action hero in his movies. Hope this doesn’t mean he is going to stop being in those type of films.
