Hello world!

A great big Conservative Western Howdy from the Cowboy State (Wyoming, for those of you in Rio Linda ;-) )!

Yea, that’s right. Another Wyoming blogger on Conservablogs. Sooner or later, we will be the majority, cause Wyoming is the greatest state in this great country of ours (in spite of the Democrat Governor that we have). No state income tax, lots of wide open spaces, the first National Park (Yellowstone), the first National Monument (Devil’s Tower), the first state to let women vote, and a whole slew of other firsts including the First National Bank :-) .

Anyway, my Wyoming blogger friends recently moved their blogs over here from Wordpress, and that got me to thinking about this starter project I had on Wordpress and how Conservablogs would be an ideal home for such a blog as this. I applied for membership, and here I am!

Anyway, this blog is dedicated to keeping track of our Wyoming elected officials and candidates from a socially and fiscally conservative viewpoint. As I stated on the previously unreleased start-up project:

This site is dedicated to keeping an eye on the votes and what-not of those elected officials that we in the Cowboy State get to vote on. As votes are conducted, I will do a post and update the favorable score for the appropriate officials, as needed, based on a ratio of voted in agreement to me to how many votes have been cast.

Yes, I got a lot of catch-up work to do, so stay tuned. You can also follow my regular blogging on Political Cowboy, which is not a purely political blog, though it does cover politics from time to time.

Edit: Also, this is a whole new side of Wordpress that I’m using, so if something doesn’t look quite right, or you see a lot of changing around of stuff, know that it’s just me trying to learn
