Sen. Barrasso Meeting in Cody!

Senator John Barrasso is paying Cody another visit:

The Cody Country Chamber of Commerce encourages you to attend a Town Meeting hosted by Senator John Barrasso. Senator Barrasso was recently appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Senator Craig Thomas. The Town Meeting will be held next Monday, August 6 from 5:00 to 6:00pm at Cody City Hall. The Senator is coming to listen to Cody citizens. He wants to hear your thoughts and views. Please plan to stop by to meet and visit with your new Senator. If you have any questions, please contact the Casper Office at (307) 261-6413 or Pam Buline at (307) 856-6642.

I’ll actually be able to go to this meeting and am looking forward to it!

He is also tentatively scheduled to appear on KODI 1400 AM /KZMQ 1140 AM talk radio show Speak Your Piece from 9-10 AM Monday morning. You can e-mail comments/questions in to tmorrison [at] bhrnwy [dot] com Your e-mail does need to be in before the show starts, so allow some time for e-mail servers to work if you want your message read. You can also call 587-1400 or if you’re outside of the Cody calling area but still in the Cowboy State, you can call toll free 1-866-833-4400. The show is unique in that there is no call screener, and the phone they use has no Caller ID; thus if you get a ring, your call will get through.

***Update (8:45 AM, 8/6/07)***

Senator Barrasso will be throughout the Big Horn Basin today. He will be in Worland from 9-10 at the Worland Community Center. He will also be in Greybull at the Big Horn Federal Meeting Room from 11-12 noon, and Lovell at the Fire Hall Meeting Room from 2-3.
