Did Cody Uproar Spur Tourism?

Yellowstone has had it tough from this gateway community. They’ve been talking about closing our precious East Gate to winter use because of avalanche danger. Granted, no one has died because of an avalanche on Sylvan Pass, located just inside of the East Entrance. But let’s remember that the avalanches have been mitigated by a howitzer. Sen. Barrasso Comes to Cody

I got to get my picture taken with Wyoming’s (and the country’s) Junior Senator at the town hall meeting in Cody tonight. Penny Preston with K2 TV was there, camera in hand, so you might catch a fleeting glimpse of my mug or shirt sleeve on the 10 o’clock news tonight.

My review of this event is in progress, but I did want to say that I hand delivered some info about some friends of our country being held hostage for over a year. Also, Sen. Barrasso’s transitional website has massively improved. I looked at it this morning and it was the basic contact info, but now there are some press releases and he has e-mail too!!!
