With all that’s been news from Wyoming recently, I think we should have a National Wyoming Month.
- Yellowstone recently released data that avalanches on Sylvan Pass can be mitigated
- WYGOP moved to the front of the line in the 2008 Presidential Primary process
- The First Lady visited the Craig Thomas Visitor Center
- Mitt Romney visited Jackson Hole
- Fed Chairman Bernanke visited Jackson Hole
- NM Gov and Democrat Presidential candidate Bill Richardson visited Jackson Hole
- Wyoming’s Quarter (25ยข piece) comes out middle of this month
- The President’s interim Press Secretary is a Wyoming lady
- Tieki Rae made the cover of National Right to Life News
- The Junior Senator of Wyoming and the US, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), will be the only U.S. Senator to host an MDA telethon this year
All of this happening as we finished August and went into September, therefore, I, Scott, do hereby declare the month of September, starting this year and continuing on every year hereafter, to be National Wyoming Month.

Wow! Wyoming is quite the happening place! Guess what else Scott? Wyoming is going to be host to a GOP Presidential Candidate forum on September 29th. I believe that 5 of the 9 candidates have confirmed coming, but don’t tell anyone in case it’s still a secret.
I’d be much more excited if I got to vote come January, but oh well …
