Sen. Barrasso To Speak

Wyoming’s new U. S. senator is set to deliver his first speech on the Senate floor today. Senator John Barrasso is scheduled to deliver his maiden speech in the Senate following three votes this morning. The senator will address his vision for Wyoming and also spell out some specific legislation that he plans to pursue. Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal appointed Barrasso to the Senate this June following the death of Senator Craig Thomas. Barrasso’s speech is scheduled to begin at about 9 a. m. Mountain Time and it will be carried live on CSPAN-2.
