Visit Your Local Public Land: FREE

The National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the U.S. Forest Service are all offering FREE admission Saturday Sept. 29 in recognition of National Public Lands Day.

Any number of things you could do, like take in a day’s use at a National Forest campground for a picnic, view the majestic Tetons, or take in a drive on a nice newly rebuilt pass in Yellowstone (on your way down to Riverton of course).

Surely National Park Service Regional Director Mike Snyder wouldn’t suggest limiting access to one of the National Parks around National Public Lands Day, would he?
