Talk about your big news week for Wyoming!
Tomorrow is an especially huge day for us!
- Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) has pulled out of the WYGOP Presidential forums.
- Fred Thompson could be making his first appearance with any of the other candidates when he appears in Casper (though he will not be in Riverton).
- Rep Tancredo paid tribute to Wyoming (see Ron Paul link), then snubbed us.
- The D.C. Congressional delegation was invited to speak in Casper, and now they can in Riverton, too, and Sen. Barrasso will be there!
- I’ll also be there, and I look forward to not only the historic event that this is, but also meeting Sunflower Desert conservablogger Tammi (respectfully referred to by me as “Mrs. C.”)
Hope you’re making plans to be there (or in Casper) too. And remember, tomorrow is Natioanl Public Lands Day, so you might take in some of the local scenery like Yellowstone or Teton National Park (or maybe both). You could even test out the new and improved Sylvan Pass while it’s still paved.

Hunter was sensational huh? Wow, the Romney campaign sure was trying to drum up campaign help in Wyoming! I almost felt sorry for them — until the WY GOP decided to break their own rule and let Josh Romney speak for 6 minutes! Well, theoretically it was 6 minutes but in reality the kid stretched it to more than 10. Seemed like a slap in the face for the candidates who actually made the effort to show up in Wyoming!
