It’s official: I’m “Muslim-Obsessed”
Oct 8th 2007ScottWar on Terrorism & Wyoming & blogging & patriotism
At least that’s what one forum poster in the U.K. thinks, simply because I choose to think that winning the War on Terrorism is important and I have categorized a few posts here that, to me, seem relevant to the war on terrorism.
Here’s the quote:
The family cowering under the table in a Bagdad air-raid wondering if they are going to survive the night are as much victims of a state sponsored terror-ism, and perhaps feel like the recipients of another states unjustified hatred, as any Muslim-obsessed Wyoming Blogger.
Granted, this is a minor blip on the radar screen. As of right now (Oct. 8, 2007 @ 2:50 PM MDT) ONE person has actually clicked through to see which blog in Wyoming is “Muslim-obsessed.” Like I stated earlier, I believe that winning the war on terrorism as committed by Islamo-fascists is important. I do not believe that every Muslim is just raring to strap on some explosives in hopes of being successful enough to be eternally gifted with 70 virgins.
I do believe that people in the Islamic faith are seriously misguided, whether they are the stripe that thinks America is the Great Satan or not. So, yes, I do disagree with every Muslim.
I do have a problem with people saying, “Hey, that Osama guy has a point. I think I’ll go blow myself up in a crowd of civilians to get Bush to leave me alone.” Sorry, that is a cheap tactic. So is sending in a car to do the same thing.
So, although I’m not sure what exactly is meant by labeling me as “Muslim-obsessed,”and equally uncertain as to what attracted you here, thanks for telling the world about the Wyoming Vote Tracker.
