Wyoming GOP Is Next!!!!

Yay!!! Iowa Caucused!!! Now it’s on to New Hampshire!!! NOT!!!!! Fact is the Wyoming Republicans are up next!!! 23 county conventions will take place in the Cowboy State tomorrow, sandwiched between the “Hawkeye Caucai” and the New Hampshire Primaries.
Yesterday, we saw the inevitable become not so inevitable, and identity politics trump issues. Keep in mind, Iowa and New Hampshire are not known for their conservative values, so this is not such a huge surprise.
I am a bit miffed by the media talking about “Next up is New Hampshire.” OK, so Wyoming doesn’t have a lot of people, but we are a strong Republican state. We could at least get some attention.
I am certainly looking forward to seeing what WYGOP county conventions result in, and, just in case the media doesn’t cover it, I’ll have it here (though it might not be right after convention). In addition, South Carolina is the next “big race.” Huckabee could certainly appeal to the folks there, but then we have to remember who Dr. Bob endorsed.
And because I’m all about optimism, here’s a cool quote from Rush on his show yesterday, about my man, Duncan Hunter:
Duncan Hunter is a great guy, and he truly is authentic. It’s a mystery why some people don’t get out of the bottom tier or the lower tiers in campaigns. But, remember, this is his first chance, it’s his first time going up in a national audience, and he’s got a future ahead of him if he wants to try to continue to do this. Whatever happens here does not rule him out forever.

Nice post Scott! Let the MSM try and skip and us — Wyoming’s voice will still be heard. Exciting times for our state.
