Sen. Enzi Brings Back Cowboy Day Resolution

Wyoming’s Senior Senator has offered a resolution in the U.S. Senate honoring the cowboy. For the past three years, the late Sen. Craig Thomas (R-WY) offered the National Day of the American Cowboy resolution for a day honoring the cowboy to coincide with Cheyenne Frontier Days.

On last year’s Cowboy Day, Senator Enzi and then newly-appointed Sen. Barrasso paid tribute to the cowboy and Wyoming’s deceased Senator.

Sen. Enzi is seeking to honor the legacy of Sen. Thomas and the cowboy and hopes that the Senate will pass the resolution.

Should the resolution pass, the fourth annual National Day of the American Cowboy will be on July 26th this year.
