Wolves, Grizzlies Split Endorsement

Almost as inevitable as the Democrats not having secured a nominee before the convention in Denver, the Wolves and Grizzlies, charter members of the Yellowstone Coalition of Carnivores, have parted ways on their endorsement. This as Democrat contenders Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama prepare to visit Wyoming ahead of the Democrat County conventions this Saturday.
In mid-January, the Coalition came out favoring Barack Obama because of his commitment to be President of the people and the animals. Last night, while hiding out on Carter Mountain, south of Cody, the Wolf Caucus of the YCC unanimously voted to break with the Coalition and endorse Hillary Clinton.
The Spokeswolf for the Coalition says that they made their decision after learning that former Governor Mike Sullivan had endorsed Hillary Clinton. At the time that wolves were planning to be reintroduced into Yellowstone National Park, Hillary Clinton, along with husband Bill, were in the White House and Sullivan was Governor of Wyoming.
An unpaid volunteer for the Clinton Campaign expressed great excitement at the news of the endorsement.
When the wolves and grizzlies teamed up for Obama, we thought we were going to have rough time winning in the state that was first to give women the right to vote. This morning we heard that Obama started running ads on a radio station just east of Yellowstone, and we began wondering if we could pull it off. By the end of the day, the wolves came out and endorsed Mom–uh, I mean Sen. Clinton, and now we’re feeling very confidant about Wyoming this Saturday.
The spokesbear for the YCC could not be reached for comment. The Obama Campaign expressed their hope for Wyoming Democrats to see the need for a hopeful change in the near future and noted that they would continue to run ads in the greater Yellowstone area.
