Former State Treasurer Cynthia Lummis is making her campaign for the Republican nomination for U.S. House official today. An event was held in Casper at noon and another event will be held in Cheyenne this evening at 5:30.
***LATE-NIGHT UPDATE***
The tape in my VCR didn’t cooperate, so I have no idea how the Casper announcement went at this point. In addition, assorted print-media sources have yet to say anything of the events. I did finally come across a news report on KGWN from Cheyenne. It is tagged to a looooooooong report about Nick Carter (D- for Sen. Barrasso’s seat) knocking on doors and shaking hands in Cheyenne. The two quotes from Cynthia Lummis’ announcement that KGWN used are as follows:
