Enzi: “We’ve been proud to serve you.”

In case you haven’t heard or seen the news, Sen. Enzi made his decision public yesterday. For the past several months, Republican officials have been pondering what Wyoming’ senior senator was going to do this year. The media has been prying to end to get some kind of idea what to write about. Granted, Sen. Enzi is pretty popular, so a re-election could be fairly easy, but everyone wants to know if they should be watching for a new Republican face to come along. Continue Reading »

I Support the NCGOP

I would like to endorse North Carolina GOP Chairman Linda Daves for the Republican Nomination for President.

That’s right. If you’re one of those out there thinking “Oh, come on. Not another anti-McCain post” you’re not going to want to read this. It’s bad news about the presumptive nominee. Continue Reading »

What Will Sen. Enzi Do?

Inquiring minds want to know, especially inquiring Republican minds! Reporters have been camping outside of Sen. Enzi’s D.C. office trying to get some inkling of information about his electoral intentions, but so far he has given them no clues, other than he will announce his decision (whatever it is) in Wyoming. Wyo. Dems Get New Head

I’d like to congratulate my good friend Bill Luckett on his recent promotion to executive director of the Wyoming Democrat Party. May he continue to keep the Wyoming Democrats a small force to contend with. I hope us Wyoming Republican bloggers can continue to expect his lurking and occasional commenting.

P.S. Mr. Luckett, if you’re looking for a Gary Trauner endorsement, you’re talking to the wrong Republican.

7500 Reasons to be Concerned About Mark Gordon

My name is Scott Bothwell; I’m not running for anything, but I approved this blog post.
I have made some comments about Mark Gordon in recent posts. People may be wondering why I have commented the way I have done so. There haven’t been many comments, but they have ranged from wondering why Rep. Cubin didn’t endorse Mark Gordon to speculation on the possibility of Gary Trauner endorsing Mark Gordon. Is McCain Going for the GOP Vote?

It’s not much of secret that I’m not much of a McCain fan. There are plenty of us that aren’t. But when he gets it right, he gets it right (or at least he stumbles onto it).

Almost as if he were practicing to be President, he called on Congress to do something to stimulate the economy. Continue Reading »
