Wyoming Blog Roundup, 4/14/08

I’m feeling exceptionally well today. Yesterday, I was labeled as a “rah rah Republican,” a “Reagan Republican,” and “positive and enthusiastic.” If that doesn’t get the political juices flowing, I don’t know what does. Time for the second edition of the Wyoming Blog Roundup!

  • I have mentioned before wondering how much sway this blog holds. I’m finding it has more than I think. I was amazingly shocked when I checked my Bloglines feeds this morning and noticed that Chris Adamo had a new post today. You might recall that I recently expressed a desire that he talk more about Wyoming. First words of the editorial (emphasis added):

Wyoming cattleman J. Randall “Randy” Stevenson, a vocal advocate of American agriculture and American enterprise, warns that this nation is “Increasingly outsourcing its sovereignty while importing its dependency.”

He didn’t stop there. Part-way through the article, the Governor (a Democrat) gets mentioned (and criticized), along with his Obama endorsement, the Wyoming Range, the late Sen. Craig Thomas, his appointed successor, Sen. John Barrasso, and one of our state’s nicknames. Good reading.

  • This really isn’t a read, but I’m now famous! You can see my cheery mug along with two former Republican state legislators, one former Republican state treasurer, and one current Republican Congressional candidate on the Lummis 2008 website! Check out the media page, or if you just wanted to see the picture that I am in, click here.
