Wolf Case Needs New Court and Judge

Who would have thunk? Environmentalists going court and judge shopping for their cause? Judging by what a judge in Missoula, MT says, that’s exactly what happened.

“The court is unwilling to risk more deaths by delaying its decision on plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction,” Molloy wrote in Wednesday’s court order.

Ironically enough, this judge was appointed by President Clinton in 1995 and confirmed by the Senate the following summer (1996). What timing that he came in at the same time Wolves were being reintroduced.

Moving along, he took office in August of that year and the guy is there until he dies or retires. Who recommended him to the President? Max Baucus! Montana, if you’re reading this post, do Wyoming a favor and get rid of Sen. Baucus this election cycle, PLEASE!
