WYGOP Convention Updates

So, you’re not at the state convention either, huh? You wish you were and at the very least, you want to hear how thing are going, not how they went.

Well my friends, follow the Lummis 2008 campaign on Twitter and you’ll be able to do just that. You don’t need a Twitter account to do this (although you would be one of the coolest Republicans in the state if you did get a Twitter account to do this). You can simply follow through your favorite RSS feed reader*, like you should be doing with this blog ;-) While you’ve over on Twitter, why not add me to your list? Granted, I don’t have first hand knowledge of the convention goings on, but, it’ll give you another source on Twitter, and I may even get into a Twitter discussion one of my fans and friends.

I would also like to extend my best wishes to outgoing WYGOP Chairman Fred Parady. He served the state well in the legislature as Speaker of the House; he ran a spirited campaign against Joe Meyer for State Treasurer in 2006, and for the past year, he has led the state party. I was honored to meet him in Riverton. He is a very kind and outgoing man. I’m sure he’ll do well in his new career.

Lastly, I would like to send a big shout out–I think that’s the right term–to the Mark Gordon people reading my blog. Yes, folks, it’s real. I have had three confirmed incoming referrals from the gordon08.com e-mail servers. There are a number of folks in the Lummis campaign  that are reading and following this blog (some of them are very influential members of the Lummis campaign), and that to me is quite an honor in and of itself. But the fact that at least one person in the Gordon campaign, perhaps more, is dropping in on occasion, to see what’s up on this blog, without me lobbying them to do so,  well, I think that just goes to illustrate that I’ve been effective in working across aisle in a spirit of bipartisanship. I’m thrilled to have them reading, I hope they are enjoying it. I also hope I’m not jeopardizing their jobs. :-)

*From time to time, Twitter sees a lot of activity that hampers the RSS feed  feature.
