Wyoming Blog Roundup: 7/7/08

Some interesting blog posts have popped up in the Wyomning Blogosphere.
- Harlan Endmonds wants us to consider the fact that maybe, just maybe, “Gov. Dave” isn’t the great moderate that won him eight years in Cheyenne.
- Annaliese adds one extra lowercase e, and someone becomes “appalled.” She’s only done a few blog posts here and there for crying out loud! Meanwhile, I have done a great many blog posts, and I know that, even now, there are words with extra letters or even missing letters, and I would venture to say that sometimes both conditions exist. What do I get for it? Immunity! So, if you’re going to harp on my candidate and her daughter–both of whom go out of there way to tell others about this blog you are reading right now–just because she’s got enough humanity to add one individual e to “remember” (a likely highly unintentional keystroke), I only request that you do the same for me. It may seem like a small thing, but the last thing I want this blog to become is a homework assignment for a strict grammarian to hand out to his/her students.
- Ruffin Prevost is bidding adieu to the blogosphere, at least for the time being. It can be tough to be a blogger in Wyoming, and I can only imagine how much tougher to blog for a newspaper as a newspaper reporter, when, it seems to me, blogging about the news is all about saying what you think about it. Not catching the Basin Beat just might give me the blues.
Well, I must be going for now. Got a big super-secret meeting to attend tomorrow.
