My developing thoughts on the donations….
- Provided she wins on August 19, Cynthia Lummis will have a pretty decent war chest to go into November.
- What in the world is Gary Trauner doing with $500 in debt??? He has money times a lot, and he’s carrying around 500 bucks in the red???? He’s already showing his liberal colors….
Stay tuned…
Noted donors for my candidate:
- State Sen. Eli Bebout (R-Riverton)–$1,000
- State Sen. Hank Coe (R-Cody)–$1,000
- Fmr. Gov. Jim Gerringer (R-WY)–$1,000
- Park County Commission Candidate Terry Hinkle (R-Cody)–$500
- (Fmr. YRNF President???) Jack Mueller (R-Cheyenne)–$500
- Theodore Roosevelt [!!!] (Brooklyn, NY) –$1,658
- Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki (R-NV)–$250
- Apparently, he’s quite the former State Treasurer in his own right. Interesting quote from his campaign website: “Experienced leadership that gets results, a record of accomplishment that improves our lives..”
- Somebody with the last name “Gordon” is supporting Cynthia Lummis??? No, he’s not from Buffalo, WY, and his first name isn’t Mark (though it would be funny as all get out if at least the latter were true, not to be confused with all the members of Wyoming’s influential family of Republicans, also supporters). His first name is “James” and he’s from Chicago, IL.
Interesting observations of my candidate’s primary opponent’s donors:
- A lot of northeast Wyoming money fueling this campaign, even when you take out the four maximum-amount ($2,300) donations from his family members (one of whom is a student; I will forever be boggled by that…).
- Someone from Bentonville, AK whose last name is Walton contributed $2,300 (the maximum amount) and then another $200. I wonder how she and/or the campaign is justifying this…
