(Cheyenne, WY) The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has endorsed Cynthia Lummis’ candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives seat for the state of Wyoming.
Thomas Donohue, the president and chief executive officer of the chamber wrote, “It is the Chamber’s goal to help elect a pro-business Congress and work diligently in the interest of businesses large and small to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and less intrusive federal government. Your support of pro-business issues earned this endorsement.”
The continuing shocks to our economy show why we need someone with Cynthia Lummis’ experience and fiscal responsibility. Her strong financial record as state treasurer has helped insure the state investments are protected from the problems on Wall Street. We need to send a person like Cynthia to Washington to protect Wyoming jobs.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions. It includes hundreds of associations, thousands of local chambers, and 106 American Chambers of Commerce in 94 countries.
