There will be several Life Chain events across Wyoming this afternoon and Wyoming Right to Life encourages you to get involved in one of them.
More than 1,300 cities across the United States will see a consistent pro-life witness. The event has grown in its message over the years recognizing a pro-life, pro-woman message and grown in size to involve hundreds of thousands of people. With most Life Chain events involving 200 or more people, as many as a quarter million people could take to the streets in the United States, and even Canada, with a pro-life message.
The peaceful and prayerful event involves holding a pre-made sign with a simple message making it clear that Abortion Kills Children, or Abortion Hurts Women.
The event runs from 2-3 PM in Cheyenne and participants will line up on the north side of Dell Range west of Powderhouse Rd. west of the mall. In Cody, residents will gather on Sheridan Ave at 16th St from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Rawlins residents line up at Cedar St at Colorado St from 2:30-3:30.
Sheila Leach, who is heading up the Cody event, noted that come rain or shine, we’d be out there.
