Casper, Wyo. - Cynthia Lummis is the right candidate for the U.S. House because she has not only the experience necessary to hit the ground running in Washington, but will be in a better position to advocate for the values that are important to Wyoming residents.
“I’ve served with Cynthia in the Wyoming Legislature and seen how effective she is doing what she will be doing in Washington– passing bills that benefit Wyoming and America,” Enzi said. “She was in the Wyoming House when I served there. She was in the State Senate when I was there. I have worked on laws with her. She knows how to stop ideas until they are crafted right. She knows how to build coalitions. She served as State Treasurer while I’ve been in the US Senate and I know she is internationally recognized for her knowledge and ability to talk numbers to get peoples attention. In these tough times, we need someone who can hit the ground running. Cynthia will do that in a way you will be proud. ”
“Cynthia has the legislative experience that Wyoming needs in the U.S. House,” Barrasso said. “Cynthia Lummis will join Mike Enzi and me in the fight for lower taxes, a secure border and protection of our Second Amendment rights. Cynthia Lummis is the right choice for Wyoming.”
The senators said it’s important for voters in western states to send representatives to the U.S. House who hold dear western, rural values that will balance out a governing body that is led by people who believe the federal government has all the answers.
