Cubin: Donation Concern Legitimate

Natrona County GOP Chairman Bill Cubin has addressed the concerns of many Republicans across the state concerning Mark Gordon. While he did not encourage not supporting Mr. Gordon, he did support the groundswell of concern over information about his past donations. Continue Reading »

I Support the NCGOP

I would like to endorse North Carolina GOP Chairman Linda Daves for the Republican Nomination for President.

That’s right. If you’re one of those out there thinking “Oh, come on. Not another anti-McCain post” you’re not going to want to read this. It’s bad news about the presumptive nominee. Continue Reading »

Gordon “Too Cozy” With Trauner

I have decided to revisit the dreaded Mark Gordon post. I’m not going to repost all the information here, but if you haven’t looked at it, you should see the 7500 reasons to be concerned about the possibility of Mark Gordon being the Republican nominee for our lone Wyoming vote in the U.S. House. After you take a look at it, come back to this post for some updates. Continue Reading »

Wyoming Blog Roundup, 4/14/08

I’m feeling exceptionally well today. Yesterday, I was labeled as a “rah rah Republican,” a “Reagan Republican,” and “positive and enthusiastic.” If that doesn’t get the political juices flowing, I don’t know what does. Time for the second edition of the Wyoming Blog Roundup! Continue Reading »

Roll Over to the Blogroll

Hey, have ya’ heard??? The blogroll has grown! I’m not talkin’ about how I’ve added endorsement links (yes, I even endorse my car insurance agent, because after all, she’s a good neighbor, and I have to endorse somebody [which is not to say that I’ve endorsed nobody], even if it does invite a bizillion spam comments about home, car, and health insurance that I just end up deleting). It’s a political season; you should expect endorsement links.

So, I figured I’d introduce some of my blogging friends to you. Some of them are folks I’ve interacted with, via e-mail or actual meetings, others are folks that I’ve come across in my researching that may or may not be remotely aware of my existence, but that’s OK. Continue Reading »

Wyoming Blog Roundup

I’m starting a new feature here on WVT. At this point, I’m going to call it “Wyoming Blog Roundup,” but, as moderate as it sounds, I am open to suggestions.

The basic idea behind the Wyoming Blog Roundup is to point out interesting blog posts by Wyoming bloggers (even if they’re displaced Wyoming bloggers). Hopefully, this will be a weekly series that perhaps gains as much popularity as Monday Night Football, but if not, I’ll take what I can get. Sometimes, the posts will be centered on one topic, other times the posts will be on an assortment of topics.

Now that you know some of what to expect, without further adieu, here’s the first edition of the Wyoming Blog Roundup: Continue Reading »

The Attention Potential Commenters Dream Of

I love being my own editor and publisher. I can choose what I want published, where I want it published, and even when I want to publish it. And you thought I was against choice for being a pro-lifer? Ha! I believe in so much choice, I make liberals look like control-freaks. Continue Reading »

Cynthia Lummis Officially In

I know, a lot of you are saying, “Scott! Where’s the big formal announcement?!?!?! She’s your candidate; why haven’t you posted the announcement????

I’m here to tell you, it’s OK; calm down; we’re gonna be alright.

I had a phone call from Annaliese today. She tried to send me some stuff and my e-mail account, for whatever crazy reason, decided to bounce it. I have since reprimanded my e-mail account (all known and possible lummis2008.com addresses are now “safe”). In the mean time, while waiting for the full official text, I figured I’d share some quotes from Tuesday that I do have. Continue Reading »
