Issues

The issues that matter in the track records (in no particular order):
- Pro-Life: this includes opposition to abortion and federal funding of abortion clinics (here and abroad), support for unborn victims acts, support for saving the lives that can be saved.
- Pro-Marriage: One man and one woman joined together in matrimony makes one marriage. God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, nor a Madam and Eve. Society should not codify any union (civil or matrimonial) between two of the same gender.
- Pro-School Choice: The parents ought to be able to choose what school their child(ren) attend, whether it be public, private, charter, or even at home.
- Pro-Israel: Israel ought to be able to defend herself in an almost daily 9/11 lifestyle, and she should receive our assistance when needed.
- Pro-Military: Supporting not only the troops, but also the work of the troops, which sometimes includes killing the bad guys.
- Pro-Boarder Security: Anything that makes it obvious where the boarder is (northern or southern) and where the accepted crossing points are is a huge help. People need to be stationed there as well; and if Mexico can have a road that travels parallel to the boarder, so can we.
- Pro-Integration: If you’re crossing the boarder to do the so-called work American’s won’t do or to eventually become a citizen, you should be able to function in our society. Part of that is the ability to communicate, and if it isn’t in English, those people that are here legally (born and otherwise) aren’t the ones with the communication problem.
- Pro-Tax Cuts: It makes your’s and mine paychecks bigger, and why shouldn’t the rich get a break on taxes? It still benefits us all!
- Pro-Business: We live in a capitalistic nation. I love small business, but I’m not going to gripe about big business either so long as they are abiding by the law.
- Pro-Second Amendment: Not like one is going to get elected in Wyoming by opposing the Second Amendment anyway, but just in case one slips through….
- Pro-Keeping Yellowstone Open: We’re in the midst of a fight here in Cody Country about Winter use in Yellowstone. The powers that be want to limit it by closing the East Gate. The community and surrounding area has no pleasure in that idea.
- Pro-Multiple Use: If land is going to set aside, at least let the people enjoy it to the fullest.
- Pro-A Wolf is a Predator: The long way of saying “Anti-Wolf,” but I want to list what I’m for and from there you can figure out what I’m against
Anyways, if the feds want wolves in Yellowstone, they need to find a way to keep them there. I’m willing to grant them trophy game status all the way to the national forest boundary (with an exception for property owners in the midst of it such as dude ranches, lodges, and such). Once the wolf has crossed the forest boundary, it’s up to the state to manage. The feds are the ones that wanted them here (i.e. Yellowstone), not us! The food chain will do just fine without them.
